Balloon Festival and Art Show in Albany, OR

Today was spectacular!!  I actually got out of bed and was dressed by 6:45 AM so I could watch the 40 colorful balloons ascending into a perfectly beautiful sky today.

 

 I'm not sure if I ever want to ride in one even though it is on my bucket list.  The fire they use to get it going bothers me. 

 

 

 

It was great that I could get up close to watch how they prepare for take off.

 

 

Up, up and away!

 

 

 

 

There goes Smokey.  Hope he figures out how to take care of all the fires while he is up there.
