Our group left Chatfield State Park yesterday.  One of the members of the group and I decided to stop and hike at Roxborough State Park, another picturesque area, on our way to our next destinations.  We weren't disappointed.  The huge red rocks were beautiful. 

The wildflowers were pretty too!

 

 

 

There are mountain lions in this park but fortunately we only met up with a stuffed one. 

 

 

Today I'm in a private park in Englewood, CO.  The temperature is 86 degrees but the sun feels like 110 degrees.  I don't remember it ever feeling this hot when we lived here about 35 years ago.  Tomorrow I will be attending a cookout with some former neighbors, which I look forward to.
